First impressions of NYC

New York City is something else. I'm a recent transplant living in Manhattan, and I've found that there's always something happening.

The past two weeks have been pleasantly eventful. Last night was my good friend Julia's birthday, which was preceded by seeing a production of Madame Butterfly at the New York Opera house. Written twenty years before the first World War, the events in the play can only be described as antebellum.
